Joburg Sixes is where social sport and serious fun meet! Short-format cricket, padel and hockey plus a unique golf day format to open the weekend, wrapped in live music, great food, a full bar, wine on the wicket and a kids zone. Friday 2 – Sunday 4 October 2026.

Grab your mates, your colleagues or your club and pick your sport. Formats are short, fast and built for all abilities, you don't need to be match-fit, just seven friends and a sense of humour. Hockey makes its Sixes debut in Joburg, so your team can be part of a first. Fields are limited and first come, first served once a sport is full, it's full.

Six players per side, five overs per innings on a reduced boundary, every ball counts and every over can swing the match. The format rewards aggression from the first delivery; there's no time to settle, no room to hide in the field. You don't need to be match-fit, you need a team of six who want to compete.

The Sixes Golf format rotates opponents every 6 holes, so you face three different pairs across 18.
